MEng Aerospace Engineering

Final year MEng student at Queen Mary University of London. Building things that fly, orbit, and don't fall apart.
about
I'm a final year MEng Aerospace Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London, focused on structures, composites, and orbital mechanics. I care about engineering that is physically grounded — things you can build, test, and trust.
Currently leading the composites team for QMUL's Formula Student racecar, taking carbon fibre body panels and aerodynamic nosecones from CAD to finished layup. I've also gained hands-on industry experience as a mechanical engineering intern.
Outside of aerospace: I tutor students from 11+ through to IB level, which has made me considerably better at explaining things clearly.
experience
Formula Student · Queen Mary University of London · London
Design and assembly of carbon fibre body panels and aerodynamic nosecones from CAD to resin-infused layup, for a racecar built to IMechE specifications competing at Silverstone. Authored the CBOM for all composite components and coordinated fit and function with the chassis team.
Self-Employed · Dartford, Kent
Prepare students for 11+, SATs, GCSEs, A-Levels, and the International Baccalaureate. Adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and maintain progress records with regular feedback to parents.
research
Python · Git · Orbital Mechanics
A propellant-efficient orbital transfer strategy for a chaser spacecraft to rendezvous with and remove multiple debris targets in low Earth orbit. Exploits J2-perturbation-induced nodal precession to reduce fuel costs — the simulation removes 19 debris objects in 1.65 years.
